About this Journal
The Asia-Pacific Journal of Food Safety and Security focuses on issues germane to countries within the Asian-Pacific geographical region of the world. All scientific, regulatory, and socio-cultural topics that address the general themes of food safety and food security, and especially those which most affect the populaces’ food supply. The following topics are considered appropriate for publication, although other relevant topics will be considered: food borne pathogens ad other biological hazards, chemical hazards (including mycotoxins, aflatoxins, bio-toxins, pesticides, etc.), physical hazards, food terrorism, food defence, food adulteration, food poisoning, food quality, food supply security, “farm-to-fork” food safety, cold chain, traceability, “Hurdle” technology, hazard detection (rapid methods of detection), bio-security.

APJFSS is a peer-review journal. The peer review process involves the review of manuscript by editorial board members and/or academics and scientist expert in subject matter.
The jouranl also releases special issues to promote and highlight scientific and technical development in the area of food security, food safety and food sustainability discussed at selected conferences, symposiums and workshops in Asia-Pacific region.
